Our Programs

There are so many Australian's who struggle to put food on the table or send their children to school with recess and lunch food, or even on special holidays cannot provide food for their family. Baptist Care Church proudly has three projects that actively help to support those in food poverty - each project helps a mother, a father, a child and many families every day.

The work of Baptist Care makes a difference, so we urge you to explore the programs below and get involved.

Foodbank NT

Foodbank NT's sole aim is to feed the vulnerable people by redistributing surplus food. We are the largest hunger relief organisation in the Territory - support through volunteering or food appeals.

Food for Life

Food for Life is a simple, but vital ministry for Territorians struggling to make ends meet. Operating through the local churches, Food for Life consists of a small supermarket and a cafe.

School Breakfast

Almost one in six school-aged children in the Northern Territory skip breakfast (ABS, 2015) and one of the primary reasons is because parents are struggling to get food onto the table.
